Information about Šilo
Šilo is a small village with only 381 inhabitants throughout the year. August 16th is the day of Šilo, St. Roko’s day, when famous fisherman’s evening is held in the city centre with occasional fireworks.

Holidays in Šilo
The island of Krk and Šilo are a great choice for your vacation! A warmly and idyllic small town without hotels, with plenty of sandy and pebble beaches, much quieter than the city of Krk and Malinska, is an ideal holiday destination for families with children.
Getting to Šilo on the island of Krk
Šilo is connected to the mainland via a bridge, which makes it easily accessible. The bridge is approximately 20 km away from our apartments and the town of Crikvenica, which is just across the sea on the mainland, is just a 5-min-speed-boat-ride away.
There is also an airport which is a 20-min-ride from our apartments, and to our guests we can offer free transportation to and from the airport if needed!
